PipeDrive Integration with Quote Roller

Focus: The focus of this document is to provide you steps on how to integrate PipeDrive into your Quote Roller Account.

What does this integration do? This integration allows you to sync your contacts from PipeDrive into Quote Roller and be able to create and review Pipedrive deals from Quote Roller.

Step 1: Login into Your Quote Roller Account.

Step 2: On the Upper right, click on Settings click on Integrations on the lower left. Find the PipeDrive integration and click on the enable button.

Step 3: Connecting PipeDrive with Quote Roller.

A. How to locate your Authentication token in PipeDrive.

a. Login into your PipeDrive account at http://www.pipedrive.com
b. Click on your name on the upper right and click on “Settings”
c. Under the middle section, locate “API.”
d. Copy “Your Personal API token” and paste that into the Quote Roller Settings and click “Save”
e. Quote Roller will process the request and if connected correctly, you will get this message, “your PipeDrive settings have been saved successfully”.

Step 4: PipeDrive Settings

A. Sync Contacts. When you are ready to Sync your PipeDrive Contacts, click on the blue sync button. Quote Roller will process the request and you will receive an email, when this has been completed that will also include a “TXT” file of the sync request of the contacts.
B. Enable creating deals from Proposals. Be sure to check this and click Save. This will allow you create deals in PipeDrive from Quote Roller. 

Congratulations, you have successfully integrated your PipeDrive Clients into Quote Roller!

Step 5: Viewing your PipeDrive Clients in Quote Roller.  Click on Clients.  Any client that has the “PipeDrive” icon, came from PipeDrive.

Step 6: Re syncing and reviewing the last sync.
A.      If you ever need to re sync or obtain date/time of the last sync. This can be done under Clients > Import Contacts.

Step 7: Creating a deal for PipeDrive, based up on the Quote Roller Proposal.
A.      In your Quote Roller account, go through the process of creating a proposal. Either send the proposal to your client or “Save As Sent”.   Then click on “Create deal in PipeDrive” on the right.

B. Here you can click this and it will create a deal in Pipedrive. This is a great way to further track your Quote Roller Proposals.
a. When you click on this option, you will get a screen that says, “The proposal will be converted to a PipeDrive deal and you will be redirected to a newly created deal page. Company and its primary contact will be added to Pipedrive’s contacts. Click “Send” to start this process.

Step 8: Reviewing the Pipedrive deal after you have sent over to Pipedrive At anytime, you can go back to your proposal overview and you will have an icon that says, “Show deal in PipeDrive”.  You can click on this and this will take you to the deal in Pipedrive.
