How to convert a proposal into a template?

Focus: The focus of this Self Help article is to provide you information and steps in order to convert a proposal into a template to be used for future use.

Please note: When you use the “Convert to template” option, this will copy everything from Step 3-Edit into a new template. This will not copy the proposal name, client name or the Pricing table. This function can be done with any proposal in any status.

Step 1: Find your proposal. In our example, will be using a Sent proposal.  Click on Proposal > Sent and click on the name of the proposal.

Step 2: Over on the right, you will have the option to “Convert to template”. Click on that button

Step 3: Quote Roller will convert the proposal (Step 4- Edit) into a template. Provide it a name, and click the green button “Save” to save the template.

Now, you can make further changes to the template or you can use this template to create proposals.
