How to edit a proposal after it has been created?

Focus: The focus of this Self Help article is to provide you information and steps in order to “edit” a proposal after it has been sent to your client or saved as Sent.

Please note: If you have a Sent proposal and it is ready to be viewed by your client and you “edit” the proposal, this will take the proposal back to the “Draft” status. Your client will not be able to view the proposal in the draft status. Once the proposal is in the “Accepted” status, it can no longer be edited.

Step 1 : Locate the proposal to edit.  From Proposals, click on “Sent” and then find your proposal. Click “Edit” next to the name. A secondary window will come up and make sure that you understand that by ‘editing” will take the proposal back to the “Draft” status. Click the orange button “OK, I understand” to edit.

Step 2: This will take you back to Step 4 in the proposal process. You can go back to Steps, 1-4 and make any changes that you see fit.

Step 3: When you are completed with your changes, you can either use the “Save and send a notification” to change this back to the Sent Status and email your client again or use the “Save As Sent” button to change the status back to Sent and then your client can view.
